Carol Annett

Carol Annett is currently the CEO of VHA Home HealthCare, a large not for profit home care provider in Ontario. She holds a Masters of Social Work from the University of Toronto and a Masters of Business Administration from York University’s Schulich School of Business. Committed to service excellence and innovation, Carol has a track record of accomplishments in both the health care and social service sectors in various clinical, leadership and consulting roles. She has worked in acute and long term care facilities as well as community-based organizations and served as the Executive Director of a children’s mental health centre prior to joining VHA in 1999 – initially as the VP of Business Development, Quality Management and Contracts, then as the CEO as of 2004. Active in her local community as a volunteer for a variety of initiatives, Carol is both a member of the Nonprofit Management Advisory Board for the Schulich School of Business and a mentor for students in the MBA Program. Carol is also a peer reviewer for Accreditation Canada, the Board Chair of the Ontario Community Support Association and also serves as a Director on the Board of Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre.
