Jesse Edsell-Vetter, Hoarding Intervention Coordinator, Metropolitan Boston Housing Partnership. In 2006, he led the establishment of MBHP’s Hoarding and Sanitation Initiative. Since then, Jesse has provided training, technical assistance, and case consultation to professionals in the U.S. including at conferences held by the Mental Health Associations of San Francisco and New Jersey. His work has been covered by the Boston Globe, Boston Herald, and National Public Radio.

His plenary talk Housing, Health, and Safety: Innovative Approaches to Bringing Homes Into Compliance shows how small shifts in language and procedures lead to better compliance and outcomes and discusses using non-mental health resources to help mobilize clients to change.
