Cindy Veinot is a senior finance executive. She served as the Provincial Controller and Assistant Deputy Minister for the Province of Ontario and prior to that was a partner at Deloitte in Toronto. At Deloitte, she served clients in a variety of sectors including government, and specifically health care, as well as not-for-profit organizations. Cindy’s past experience as a volunteer includes as a Director on the Board and/or member of the Finance Committee for St. Margaret of Scotland Church, Legal Education & Action Fund (LEAF), and Providence Healthcare. In addition, Cindy volunteers as a task force member of the Public Sector Accounting Board. She holds a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Accounting from the University of Waterloo, a Masters of Health Sciences from the University of Toronto, and is an FCPA, FCA, CMA and CPA(DE). Cindy joined the Board in 2016.
