Rigorous monitoring of key quality and clinical performance indicators happens across all levels of the organization, including VHA’s dedicated Quality & Risk Management Committee of the Board.
Accredited since 2000 by Accreditation Canada, VHA adheres to the highest quality and safety home care standards. In our most recent evaluation survey in 2016, VHA was accredited with Exemplary Standing, the highest standing possible.
VHA is committed to providing the highest level of professional practice and delivering evidence-based care across all disciplines. We use the Best Practice Spotlight Organization (BPSO) model designed by the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario (RNAO) to help us realize our mission of creating possibilities for more independence.
